Buxton Talking Newspaper provides free audio recordings of local news, other local publications and features of interest to people who are blind or partially sighted, that have difficulty reading or holding printed documents.
The service is provided free of charge for people who are registered blind or visually impaired. Articles for the blind are accepted by Royal Mail as post free. We have to pay postage for those who are not registered. Some listeners give voluntary donations.
